Math 101
Welcome to Math 101
This page holds an overview of some basic math topics which are used in a variety of subjects. From algebra, to chemistry, GRE, nursing medication math, and more! The goal of this course is to provide you with many math problems to strengthen your math skills for your future endeavors.
Some areas, you are encouraged to solve without a calculator, while others may require you to use a calculator. Both to strengthen you arithmetic skills and your ability to use a scientific calculator. For the areas with a calculator you should use a scientific calculator as that is the type of calculator MOST subjects will allow you to use.
If you run into a word or symbol you don’t recognize, head over to the Math Jargon page to see definitions. (This line is included on all math pages, these will not be used in this course as they are more advanced symbols)
Take a look through the topics here and practice them. I encourage you to practice the problems first before looking at the solution to ensure you understand the process.
Not all topics will pertain to you/your classes. Find what you need to know and practice those specific topics.
